The Home Ventilating Institute has long thrived on the backs of its volunteers who provide service to the organization largely without acknowledgement or the expectation thereof. The HVI Distinguished Service Award recognizes the achievements of our long-time volunteers. Equally important is the Future of HVI Award program which recognizes and promotes the outstanding leadership characteristics exhibited by our "newer" volunteers.
The Future of HVI Award is awarded annually by the Board of Directors to individuals currently involved in leadership or committee/task group activities and actively pursuing future leadership roles. The recipients of this award set a strong example for other volunteer leaders and motivate their peers to make a positive impact on the association and the residential ventilation industry.
All representatives of HVI member companies in good standing as well as representatives of recognized HVI partner organizations are eligible for this award.
Recipients of the Future of HVI Award are individuals who are:
Nominations for the award are made by peers and HVI staff. Award recipients will be determined by a vote of the HVI Board of Directors. If the Board so desires, multiple recipients may be honored in a given year. The Board may also choose to refrain from bestowing the award if no suitable nominations are received.
