The HVI/UL/HARCA Meeting begins the morning of Thursday, September 22 and will end at approximately noon Pacific Time on Friday, September 23. If you are attending the HVI/HARCA Joint BOD meeting (invitation only), the meeting will end approximately 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23.

This year's meeting will be a hybrid meeting, composed of both in-person and virtual. The in-person events will be hosted by the DoubleTree Resort Paradise Valley-Scottsdale, Arizona. If you are attending the meeting in-person, be sure a reserve your room today! The hotel cutoff date is August 19, but we expect the room block to fill up quickly. The HVI virtual meetings will be hosted by Zoom.
Meeting registration and payment must be received at HVI Headquarters by September 1, 2022, to avoid late registration fees. After September 1, registrations for in-person participation will incur an additional $110 fee. There is no late fee for virtual participation.
Registration fees will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation received at HVI Headquarters no later than September 1, 2022. All registrations canceled, regardless of when they are received, will be subject to a $200 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after September 1, 2022; however, substitutions are permitted so long as HVI staff is notified in advance.
After the registration deadline on September 1, 2022, your registration can be transferred to another representative from your company upon written notice to the HVI staff.
This hotel does not provide its own shuttle service but there are plenty of ground transportation options available. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, 12 miles from Sky Harbor International Airport and 9 miles from the Scottsdale Airport. Self-parking is complimentary or valet parking is offered for $15 per night.
Complimentary WiFi is provided in the meeting rooms.
These meetings are "green" and printed materials are not provided on site. You are STRONGLY encouraged to bring your laptop / tablet with you to use during the meetings.
"Business/resort casual" attire is appropriate dress for all functions.

The HVI meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 22-23, 2022 (hybrid). You will receive an email invitation on Monday, September 19 to join the virtual meetings. To download Microsoft Teams, please click here.
A computer or tablet will be necessary to download and use the Microsoft Teams platform. A microphone will be necessary if you wish to participate in discussions. If you will be presenting, you will need a webcam and microphone.
There may be instances where users experience firewall issues. If you experience any connectivity issues while using Teams, please consult your IT department. If you are attending the meeting from your own home, and you will be using your own private network, you will need to log in to your router and open these ports manually. Microsoft Teams connects to Microsoft Online Services and needs internet connectivity for this. For Teams to function correctly, you must open TCP ports 80 and 443 from the clients to the internet, and UDP ports 3478 through 3481 from the clients to the internet.
